You can see from these images that the proposed room for the study was very small indeed. This is confirmed by the design dimensions in the drawing below.

Here the manufacturers are installing the bookcase over the work top, with the high level cupboard and the drawers below the work area. They left a gap over the bookcases for the builders to run their plaster cornice after installation.

These last four images show the cramped space I had to design in and how I was able to accommodate the radiator under the window, adequate drawers, with deeper filing drawers below and a clear work top throughout, with removable back panels for wires and cables, a deep over shelf in which down lights were fitted and the bookcases above vary in depth to take books and files. The builders cornice now runs around the entirety

	The design was a minimalist style with concealed runs for cables and adequate work space to work comfortably from home
